
Alabama Soccer Earns No. 1 Seed, Set to Host Program’s First NCAA Tournament Game

The Crimson Tide will face Jackson State at 6 p.m. CT on Friday
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama soccer team will host its first-ever NCAA Tournament game after the NCAA selected the Crimson Tide as a No. 1 seed on Monday. The Tide will host Jackson State at 6 p.m. CT Friday at the Alabama Soccer Stadium.
The 2022 SEC Champions and SEC Tournament runner-up, the Tide enters the tournament with a 19-2-1 overall record which includes a perfect 10-0 run in conference play. UA will make its fifth appearance in the tournament in addition to marking the first time the program has earned back-to-back berths.
The Crimson Tide is coming off a record setting season which includes a 15-game run. Alabama has defeated a program-best five ranked opponents and lost just one regular season game. The team has outscored its opponents 59-13 this season and has shutout 11 foes.
