
Alabama Men's Tennis to Host SEC/Big 12 Challenge This Weekend

The Tide will be without Joao Ferreira who is competing at the CCB Invitational
TUSCALOOSA, Ala.– The Alabama men's tennis team will host the SEC/Big 12 Challenge Friday through Sunday at the Alabama Tennis Stadium. Along with the Crimson Tide, Mississippi State and South Carolina will represent the SEC with Texas Tech, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State representing the Big 12 in the event.
In addition to Alabama hosting, Crimson Tide junior Joao Ferreira will head to the Country Club of Birmingham Invitational for a three-day tournament this weekend in Birmingham, Ala.

- Friday, Nov. 4
- 12 p.m. CT – Alabama vs. Oklahoma, Mississippi State vs. Oklahoma State, South Carolina vs. Texas Tech
- Saturday, Nov. 5
- 10 a.m. CT –Alabama vs. Oklahoma State, Mississippi State vs. Texas Tech, South Carolina vs. Oklahoma
- Sunday, Nov. 6
- 10 a.m. CT – Alabama vs. Texas Tech, Mississippi State vs. Oklahoma, South Carolina vs. Oklahoma State
CCB Invitational Information
- Joao Ferreira will open play Friday and will take on Olimjon Nabiev from Southern Miss
- The match is scheduled to begin at 9 a.m. CT, with second round action starting at noon
