Alabama Head Coach Kristy Curry Said
"I just appreciate our crowd that came out. It was great to have a Sunday funday where our players are able to sign autographs. It's the first time we've done that in a couple of years. Appreciate the great Sunday crowd. We'll continue to do that every Sunday.
"That's a team, in Garner-Webb, that's picked to win their league. I have a lot of respect for Alex (Simmons) and how she runs her program. I thought we did a really good job of getting off to a really good first and second quarter. The third, the fourth, not necessarily to our standard. I do think that one thing we did do with three games and seven days, we did keep some freshness and things that will play off down the stretch. Every minute that everyone gets right now is really critical. Our staff is obviously trying to figure out who can step in and be ready to play. I thought the minutes that we got for everyone today was really valuable to be able to have a big win. It was good day."
