Exhibition with Mississippi State Highlights Baseball’s New Week of Fall Practice

The Crimson Tide and Bulldogs will meet on Friday night of Homecoming Weekend
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama baseball is set to host Mississippi State for an exhibition this Friday, Oct. 21 at Sewell-Thomas Stadium. The Crimson Tide's matchup with the Bulldogs highlights week five of fall practice.
The SEC Western Division foes are scheduled for a 6 p.m. CT first pitch at The Joe with gates opening at 4 p.m. Admission to the exhibition will cost $5 with all proceeds going to the Alabama Grand Slammers. Tickets can be purchased day-of at the Gate 3 ticket window or in advance by visiting www.GrandSlammers.org.
Concession stands will not be open for the night but those in attendance are permitted to bring their own food and beverages. There will be no clear bag policy for fans entering the ballpark.
Leading up to the exhibition, the Crimson Tide will practice on Monday and Thursday at 2:30 p.m. Between the two workouts is Tuesday's practice and scrimmage set for a 2:30 p.m. start followed by a 4 p.m. first pitch in the intrasquad. Alabama will close out the week on Saturday with a practice session starting at 10:30 a.m. that will lead into a final intrasquad for the week that is slated for 12 p.m.
All scrimmages are subject to change. The length will be determined on a game-to-game basis. Spaced out between scrimmages are the team's regularly scheduled practice sessions. Dates and times of all practices and scrimmages for the upcoming week can be found on RollTide.com each Monday.
Admission to Alabama baseball's on-field activity is free to the public (not including the exhibition with Mississippi State). Fans are asked to enter Sewell-Thomas Stadium through the main gate (Gate 3) located directly behind home plate. Once inside, fans are to stay in the lower bowl seating area with access to the upper levels of the stadium strictly prohibited.
