"I could not be more excited and thankful for the opportunity to join the Alabama volleyball staff," Scott said. "I want to thank Rashinda for trusting me to assist her in building this program. I am excited to hit the ground running and learn more about the university, culture and team as a whole. I look forward to working with our student-athletes, coaches, support staff and the entire Alabama community to help build the Crimson Tide into a championship program! Roll Tide!"
Carter arrives in Tuscaloosa after spending the last three seasons as an assistant coach at Western Carolina, mentoring a pair of Southern Conference Libero of the Year award winners. Carter was a four-year letterwinner at Samford University in Birmingham, winning a pair of Southern Conference titles with the Bulldogs and 2014 SoCon Libero of the Year honors.
"I am so grateful and thankful to be a part of Rashinda's journey and vision," Carter said. "I cannot wait to get into Foster Auditorium with this amazing staff and get to work!
