Alabama Women’s Basketball Holds First Practice of the 2021-22 Season

The Crimson Tide will begin new season on Tuesday, Nov. 9
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama women's basketball team held its first official practice of the 2021-22 season Tuesday, spending three hours in historic Coleman Coliseum as it prepares for its 48th season.
Head coach Kristy Curry returns for her ninth season at the helm of the Crimson Tide, alongside assistant coaches Kelly Curry (ninth season), Janese Constantine (second season) and Roman Tubner (first season). This season, Alabama's 14-person roster will include eight returners, including two senior starters in Megan Abrams and Hannah Barber, and welcomes six newcomers, including two freshmen and four transfers.
The 2021-22 Alabama women's basketball season, which begins Tuesday, Nov. 9 when the program plays host to Charleston Southern, features 13 nonconference games and 16 Southeastern Conference games, including 18 matchups inside Coleman Coliseum. TV selections and tip times will be released soon.
Fans are encouraged to purchase season tickets online now at RollTide.com or by calling the ticket office at 205-348-BAMA (2262). Season tickets offer considerable savings over the cost of buying single-game tickets, which are scheduled to go on sale Monday, Oct. 25. Season ticket prices include admission to all 18 of Alabama women's basketball home games inside Coleman Coliseum.
