Alabama Football Returns to Practice Field Monday

The Crimson Tide practiced in shells to open first full week of fall camp

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The University of Alabama football program practiced in shells for the first time during fall camp in Monday's midday, two-hour session on the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields.

Monday’s workout was the third in a series of 27 practices for the Crimson Tide before the team travels to Atlanta, Ga., to square off against Miami (Fla.) on Sep. 4. The two teams will meet inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium for the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game, with the meeting set for 2:30 p.m. CT on ABC.
