Four Alabama Soccer Players Named to Preseason Watch List

The Crimson Tide will open the season at home Thursday against Jacksonville State
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Four Alabama soccer players were named to the Southeastern Conference preseason watch list the league announced Wednesday. Forward Ashlynn Serepca, midfielders Macy Clem and Felicia Knox and defender Reyna Reyes received the nod for the Crimson Tide.
Reyes was named to the preseason watch list for the second-consecutive year, while Virginia transfer Serepca, junior Clem and sophomore Knox earned the recognition for the first time.
On The Watch List
REYNA REYES
- Reyes was called up to the Mexican National Team for the 2021 season, playing against Costa Rica, Slovakia and two games against the United States
- Last season, she tied for third on the team in points, scoring two goals and recording two assists
- Captured back-to-back goals for the Tide against Montevallo and Lipscomb and assisted on goals in the team's matchup against LSU and Auburn
MACY CLEM
- Clem ranked second on the team in points, recording eight during the season, and tied as the team leader in assists with four
- She scored the game-winning goal against Columbus State and netted the team's lone goal against No. 3 Arkansas
- She assisted on three of the team's four goals against South Alabama in addition to aiding on a goal against Tennessee
FELICIA KNOX
- A SEC All-Freshman Team selection, Knox led the Crimson Tide in goals during the 2020-21 season, netting four which included the game-winning goal against No. 15 Auburn
- Additionally, Knox found the back of the net against Mississippi State, South Alabama and Columbus State
- She added two assists to her season to give her a team-leading 10 points
ASHLYNN SEREPCA
- A transfer from Virginia, Serepca made 19 appearances during the 2020-21 season and tallied two assists for the Cavaliers
- She assisted a goal in the team's 3-1 win over Virginia Tech and the team's 1-1 draw against No. 5 West Virginia
