Reyes will compete in her third round of friendlies with the Mexican National Team
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama's Reyna Reyes will compete with the Mexican Women's National Team on June 13 in a friendly against Japan in Tochigi Prefecture, Japan. The match is scheduled to kickoff at midnight CT.
Reyes will compete in her third round of friendlies with the Mexican National Team. The UA midfielder saw action in the team's 0-0 draw against Costa Rica (Feb. 23) before earning her first career start in the team's 0-0 draw against Slovakia (April 10). Mexico's match against Japan highlights a three-week training camp for the senior team.
Mexico will face its second consecutive top-15 ranked team, according to the FIFA World Rankings, after dropping to No. 13 Spain on April 13. Japan enters the match ranked 11th in the world and is coming off an 8-0 win over Ukraine on June 10.
