
Alabama Volleyball Incoming Freshman Shaye Eggleston Earns Second-Straight Tennessee Gatorade Player of the Year Award

The Brentwood, Tenn., native earned her second-straight Tennessee Gatorade Player of the Year accolade
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama volleyball incoming freshman Shaye Eggleston was named the Gatorade Tennessee Volleyball Player of the Year for the second-straight season.
A native of Brentwood, Tenn., Eggleston led Brentwood High School to a 38-3 record in 2020, earning the program's eighth-straight Class AAA state title. She finished the season with 490 kills, 269 digs, 36 blocks and 36 aces. A three-time All-State honoree, she was named to the 2020-21 Under Armour All-America team alongside fellow Crimson Tide newcomers Sami Jacobs and Brooke Slusser.
