Weather and Course Conditions Delay First Round at NCAA Baton Rouge Regionals

NCAA officials postponed the first round of the tournament at noon today
BATON ROUGE, La. – The first round of the NCAA Baton Rouge Regional is postponed until Tuesday, NCAA officials announced Monday afternoon. The University Club was ruled unplayable due to overnight and morning storms.
The first round of action will begin tomorrow at 10 a.m. using a shotgun start. Alabama will start on holes 3-6 and be paired alongside Maryland and Oregon. It is yet to be determined the number of holes to be played Tuesday.
The field consists of 18 teams, six of which are ranked in the Top 25 in the Golfstat.com Team Rankings. The top six teams along with the top three individuals from non-advancing teams will go on to compete at the NCAA Championship in Scottsdale, Ariz., which begins May 21st.
