Alabama Rowing Caps Weekend in Ohio with Two Wins

The Crimson Tide win the First Varsity 8+ and First Varsity 4+
BETHEL, Ohio – Alabama rowing closed its weekend at the Big 10 Invitational with a pair of wins Sunday, as the First Varsity 8+ and First Varsity 4+ came away with their second victories of the weekend.
The 1V8+ started the day with its second win of the weekend, defeating Wisconsin, Louisville and Iowa with a winning time of 6:39.392. After a second-place finish in the Second Varsity 8+ (6:54.493), the 1V4+ posted another dominant performance, outpacing its field by over seven seconds with a winning time of 7:39.474. The Crimson Tide also took home second-place finishes in the Second Varsity 4+ (7:25.648) and Fourth Varsity 8+ (7:14.598) and third in the Third Varsity 8+ (6:42.753).
