
Alabama's Sam Fischer Named to SEC Men's Tennis Community Service Team for Third Time

As part of the UA Student-Athlete Advisory Committee's Executive Board, the senior helps coordinate Alabama Athletics' outreach efforts
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. -Â Alabama senior Sam Fischer has been named to the Southeastern Conference Men's Tennis Community Service Team for the third time the league office announced Thursday.
Fischer leads the Crimson Tide in community service hours and helps coordinate Alabama Athletics' outreach efforts as part of the UA Student-Athlete Advisory Committee's Executive Board.
Fischer in the Community
- Sam Fischer leads the Crimson Tide in community service hours and has been named to the SEC Men's Tennis Community Service Team for the third year
- He has given his time to several outreach opportunities, including serving as an Alberta Head Start Classroom Reader, Read Across America Week, the Crimson Tide's Halloween Extravaganza and A Night to Shine
- He also mentors students from Holy Spirit Catholic School
- Fischer helps guide the Tide's community service efforts as the president of the Alabama Student-Athlete Advisory Committee, coordinating outreach between student-athletes and the community
