
Alabama Men’s Tennis Closes Regular Season with a Pair of SEC Road Matches

The Crimson Tide takes on LSU in Baton Rouge, La., on Thursday and Texas A&M in College Station, Texas on Saturday
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama men's tennis team closes out its regular season this weekend with a pair of Southeastern Conference road matches.
Alabama faces LSU in Baton Rouge, La. on Thursday at 3 p.m. CT. The Tigers are ranked 39th in the nation and sport an 11-11 record to this point in the season.
Following its showdown in Baton Rouge, the Tide continues west, taking on Texas A&M in College Station, Texas on Saturday at 1 p.m. CT. The Aggies are ranked eighth nationally and come into the weekend with a 17-4 record this season.
The Crimson Tide are 18th in the latest Oracle/ITA computerized national rankings and is 14-8 this season. After a 5-2 win at Arkansas last Sunday, the Tide is on a three-match win streak, with the last two of those victories coming on the road.
Following its last two matches of the regular season, Alabama remains on the road, traveling back to Fayetteville, Ark., for the 2021 SEC Championships, April 19-23. The SEC Championships bracket will be finalized following a handful of league matches this weekend.
