The Crimson Tide scrimmaged in Bryant-Denny Stadium on Saturday
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. ā The Alabama football team completed its second scrimmage of the spring Saturday inside Bryant-Denny Stadium in a two-hour session. Alabam ahead coach Nick Saban got a second look at his team in game-like situations on Saturday.
āWe just keep on working with these guys and seeing if we can get more guys to play winning football,ā Alabama head coach Nick Saban. āI think the first defense was good. The second defense made a lot of mental errors, gave up plays. I donāt think the tackling was as good this week as it was a week ago. We got a lot to work on.ā
āHow do we really manage this next week? We got two practices and the spring game. We really got to use both practices as an opportunity to continue to improve and get more ready for the season.ā
Saturdayās practice marked the 12th of 14 spring practice sessions that pave the way for the annual Golden Flake A-Day Game on Saturday, April 17 at Bryant-Denny Stadium. The A-Day matchup is scheduled for a 12 p.m. kickoff and will air live on ESPN.
The Tide will be back on the practice field Tuesday, April 13, at 3:30 p.m.
