
Alabama Volleyball Falls in Home Finale to Tennessee, 3-1

The Crimson Tide concludes its spring season with a two-match road swing at third-ranked Kentucky
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama volleyball fell in its final home game of the season to Tennessee, 3-1, Saturday afternoon at Foster Auditorium.
Alabama (7-13, 7-13 SEC) fell in the opening set, 25-18, but overcame an early deficit in the second with a 7-1 run in the middle of the frame to help edge out Tennessee (9-8, 9-8 SEC), 25-23, and even the match. With the Lady Vols up 12-10 in the third set, a 5-0 run from the visitors put them ahead 17-10 and that ended up as the margin of victory, 25-18. Tied at 9-9 in the fourth, Tennessee again pulled ahead with a 6-1 scoring run and led by as much as eight before the Crimson Tide fought back within four, down 22-18. The Lady Vols reached match point at 24-18 and two errors brought Alabama closer but a kill ultimately ended the set, 25-20, to give Tennessee the match, 3-1.
Kendyl Reaugh notched her fifth double-double of the season, finishing with 14 digs and a team-leading 12 kills, while also adding a career-high four service aces. Riley Fisbeck was just one dig shy of earning her seventh straight double-double, totaling 15 assists and nine digs.
