The Crimson Tide picked up wins at No. 2 and No. 3 to secure the doubles point
NASHVILLE, Tenn. – The Alabama women's tennis team lost at No. 10 Vanderbilt in Nashville, Tenn., Sunday afternoon in a match that was played indoors.
The Crimson Tide won the doubles point after Anne Marie Hiser and Sydney Riley picked up a 6-1 victory at No. 2 and Alba Cortina Pou and Anna Parkhomenko gutted out a 7-6(4) decision at No. 3. Vanderbilt picked up wins at Nos. 1, 2, 3 and 5 to secure the win.
