
Alabama Women’s Tennis Falls at Kentucky, 4-1

The Crimson Tide won at No. 2 doubles and No. 4 singles
LEXINGTON, Ky. – The Alabama women's tennis team fell at Kentucky at the Hilary J. Boone Tennis Center in Lexington, Ky., Friday afternoon by a score of 4-1. Alabama is now 9-4 on the season, while Kentucky goes to 9-1.
After losing at No. 3 doubles, the Crimson Tide tandem of Anne Marie Hiser and Sydney Riley won at No. 2 doubles, 6-3. With the doubles point in the balance, Moka Ito and Sasha Gorchanyuk pushed their match to a tiebreaker before falling 7-6 to give the Wildcats the doubles point. Alba Cortina Pou picked up Alabama's lone point of the match with a straight-sets win at No. 4 singles.
