Head Coach Jay Seawell Comments
- "There are a lot of things to be encouraged about. I thought the guys did a really good job, especially (Saturday). I wanted to see how we would perform in the first tournament and there were a lot of things I thought we did well. That being said, we have a long way to go. We have to get a lot better to get ourselves to that next level. I think we are a good team but to become a special team we have a lot of work to do. We look forward to getting back to work so we're ready to compete at our next tournament at LSU."
- "We had a lot of adversity this week because we had to try and squeeze three rounds into two. You're adjusting on the fly and doing everything you can to make the tournament work. I thought our guys handled it well. I'm proud of how our guys have handled all the adversity, not just during this tournament but really all year. This team really tends to handle that well and it was no different this weekend."
