Davidson Steps in as Alabama’s Opponent for C.M. Newton Classic

The Wildcats replace Colorado State in the match-up, which will take place in Birmingham’s Legacy Arena
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – It was announced Saturday that Davidson will now take on No. 6/8 Alabama in the C.M. Newton Classic, which will be played Tuesday, Dec. 21, at 6 p.m. CT inside the newly-renovated Legacy Arena.
The Wildcats replace Colorado State in this year's event after the Rams' program entered COVID-19 protocols earlier this weekend.
Tickets are on sale and can be purchased through Ticketmaster. Previously purchased tickets for the neutral-site game will still be honored. The C.M. Newton Classic is not a part of the 2021-22 Alabama men's basketball season ticket package.
