The Crimson Tide picked up the doubles point with a 3-0 sweep before winning all six singles matches in straight sets

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama women's tennis earned their third 7-0 dual-match sweep of the season, blanking Kennesaw State at the Roberta Alison Baumgardner Tennis Facility in Tuscaloosa, Ala., Saturday afternoon.

After winning all three doubles matches and taking the doubles point, the Tide went on to sweep singles in straight sets. With the win, the Crimson Tide goes to 4-0 on the season while the Owls drop to 0-2.

Head Coach Jenny Mainz Said

"I thought we finished strong today in singles against a competitive Kennesaw State team. We had a slow start in doubles and played tentatively. But we did a good job of closing out games and sets in singles. We're focused on getting sharper with each match in preparation for the SEC season."
