Bill Battle Athletic Performance Center Unveiled
Last Wednesday afternoon, we had the opportunity to thank and recognize Coach and Mary Battle and their family with the unveiling of the Bill Battle Athletic Performance Center. The Battles continue to be leaders at The University of Alabama through not only their generosity, but also in the way they care and support so many around Tuscaloosa. It's because of people like Coach and Mary Battle that our programs are able to have access to some of the best facilities and resources in the country, and we are certainly grateful for that.
Classroom Champions
As we continue full tilt into the spring semester, we look back with great pride on another excellent semester in the classroom. A total of 20 of our 21 sports posted a 3.0-or-better team grade point average in the fall, and all our teams were above a 2.80. That tally includes 11 teams above a 3.5. Our women's teams were led by tennis' 3.834, while the men were paced by swimming and diving's 3.645. Individually, more than 100 Crimson Tide student-athletes earned President's List honors (4.0 GPA) and more than 150 earned a place on the Dean's List (3.5-or-better GPA). We're very proud of all our student-athletes, faculty, coaches and staff for their dedication to excellence in all areas of the collegiate experience.
Shaping up to be a Busy Spring
Nearly all of our spring sport schedules have been announced, and if you take a look at the calendar, you can see it is about to be a very busy season for the Tide! We will have more information as we get closer to the start as it relates to attendance protocols for both our ticketed and non-ticketed sports. Thanks to so many of you for supporting our teams, whether you're able to come out in person or by following along on the SEC Network or through our social channels. I know it means a lot to our programs to have you all as the team behind our teams.

Successful Weekend of Competition
It was another fun-filled weekend for Tide fans with a number of wins across the board in so many of our sports. On Friday, our swimming and diving teams had a strong showing at Georgia Tech, sweeping the Yellow Jackets in the regular-season finale, followed by a season-high score for our gymnastics team in its 196.925-195.575 win over Auburn. On Saturday, our men's basketball team won its ninth-straight to remain undefeated in SEC play with an 81-73 victory over Mississippi State, while our women's tennis team opened the dual-match season with a pair of 7-0 sweeps and our indoor track & field squads set two facility records and had top-10 times in the nation at the Carolina Challenge. Our men's tennis team also had some individual wins, taking on No. 8 NC State and No. 17 Ole Miss in ITA Kickoff Weekend action. Sunday concluded with our women's basketball team posting a 67-55 victory at home over Auburn. Round of applause and a big Roll Tide!
Tide Totals Deadline Approaching
With February 1 Tide Totals deadline approaching, I wanted to remind you that you can earn Tide Totals priority points while supporting the education of our student-athletes. The Crimson Tide Scholarship Fund (CTSF) is the annual scholarship fund for Alabama Athletics. Donations to the CTSF allow deserving student-athletes to compete for the Crimson Tide while earning a degree from The University of Alabama, and donors to the CTSF earn three Tide Totals priority points for every $100 donated. To learn more about the CTSF and to donate, visit crimsontidefoundation.org/ctsf.

We're highlighting some of our younger Tide fans in this week's #RollTideFriday features. First, we have Aylah, Emilee and Denny all dressed up and ready for game day. Secondly, we have a photo submitted by Lauren Brown that is just in time as we gear up for baseball season.
