Alabama Volleyball Earns 2019-20 USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award

The award recognizes squads that maintain a 3.30 team GPA through the academic year
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – For the eighth-straight season, Alabama volleyball was honored with the USMC/AVCA Team Academic Award, it was announced Monday.
Presented by the United States Marine Corps and the American Volleyball Coaches Association, the award honors volleyball teams that maintain a year-long grade point average of at least 3.30. The Crimson Tide has won the award 14 times since its inaugural presentation for the 1992-93 academic year, including a current streak of eight straight.
Eleven Alabama volleyball players earned a spot on the 2019-20 SEC Fall Academic Honor Roll with four others appearing on the 2019-20 SEC First Year Academic Honor Roll.
