
Alabama Volleyball Adds Trio of Transfer Athletes

The group will join the Crimson Tide for the 2020 fall season
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama Head Volleyball Coach Lindsey Devine announced the addition of three transfers to the Alabama volleyball roster, set to join the team in fall for the 2020 season.
The group includes graduate setter Riley Fisbeck from Texas, senior libero Madelyn St. Germain from UT-Arlington and junior outside hitter Abby Marjama from UC Irvine.
These new additions are joined by rising sophomore Kennedy Muckelroy, who arrived in Tuscaloosa during the spring semester after playing her freshman season at Florida Atlantic. In addition to the four transfers, the 2020 roster includes four freshmen and six returnees from last year's team.
Riley Fisbeck (Graduate Student – Setter – Texas)
- Four-year member of the Texas Longhorns, who made NCAA Tournament appearances all four seasons including a national runner-up finish in 2016
- Two-time Academic All-Big 12
- 2016 PrepVolleyball Senior Ace
- 2015 AVCA Under Armour All-American
Madelyn St. Germain (Senior – Libero – UT Arlington)
- 2019 Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Year
- 2019 Sun Belt All-Conference
- Three-time Sun Belt Defensive Player of the Week
- Posted over 1,000 digs in three seasons
Abby Marjama (Junior – Outside Hitter – UC Irvine)
- Led the team with 277 kills last season and was second on the team with 284 as a freshman
- Recorded eight double-doubles in 2019 and posted 10+ kills in 15 matches
- 2018 Big West Conference Freshman of the Year
- Led the league with 44 aces in 2018
