Alabama Women's Golf is Back in Action for the Moon Golf Invitational

The Crimson Tide will play in its first tournament of the spring slate starting Monday
TUSCALOOSA Ala. – The ninth-ranked Crimson Tide women travel to Melbourne, Florida for the Moon Golf Invitational at the Duran Golf Club on Monday. This matchup will mark their first tournament of the spring.
Alabama will be paired with host Louisville and North Carolina for the first round of the Moon Golf Invitational. The trio will start off No. 1 with the first group teeing off at 9:00 a.m. CT Monday on the Par 72, 6279-yard course.
Tournament Info
- The field will include defending champion UCF, along with two other programs ranked in the top-25 coaches' poll.
- The 18-team field contains host Louisville, Augusta, Campbell, Coastal Carolina, Florida Atlantic, Furman, Kansas, Kennesaw State, Kentucky, Minnesota, North Carolina, Ole Miss, Old Dominion, Seminole State and UCF.
About Alabama
- Alabama's starting five includes senior Kenzie Wright, juniors Polly Mack and Angelica Moresco, and freshmen Caroline Curtis and Emilie Øverås.
- The Crimson Tide women finished the fall season strong, with three second-place finishes in the Schooner Fall Classic (284-283-281/847), Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational (283-280-290/853) and Landfall Tradition (285-278-299/862).
- Alabama was led in the fall by senior Kenzie Wright, who had two top-five performances and 10 rounds par or lower.
- Along with Alabama's starting five, sophomore Carolina Caminoli will play individually for the Tide on Monday.
