Alabama to Face Western Kentucky in Place of Houston on Saturday Afternoon

The Cougars were forced to cancel their contest in Tuscaloosa due to COVID-19
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama men's basketball team's matchup with Houston scheduled for this Saturday has been cancelled due to COVID-19 issues within the Cougars' basketball program. As a result, the Crimson Tide has agreed to play the Hilltoppers of Western Kentucky on Saturday, Dec. 19, at 1 p.m. CT on SEC Network+.
The Hilltoppers currently own a record of 5-2 through seven games this season, which includes victories over Memphis and Rhode Island, among others. Western Kentucky's two defeats have come against nationally-ranked West Virginia and Louisville.
