
Kenzie Wright in Fourth Headed into Final Round at Liz Murphey Fall Collegiate Classic

The graduate student leads the Crimson Tide after day two Saturday
ATHENS, Ga. – Kenzie Wright of the Alabama women's golf team finished Saturday's second round at the Liz Murphey Fall Collegiate Classic with a 3-under par 69, and currently sits tied for fourth place headed into the final round at University of Georgia Golf Course.
As a team, Alabama (303-291/594) rose one spot to ninth, after shooting 3-over par 291 in the second round. Auburn, who shot a 7-under par 281, surged ahead to take the lead a day after being in sixth.
Leading the Lineup
- Wright maintains a place in the top-five contention at tied for fourth with a two-round total of 143 (74-69).
- The Frisco, Texas, native started the day consistent, turning in even-par on the front nine. She then fired off a 3-under headed in to the clubhouse, highlighted by a trio of consecutive birdies.
- Angelica Moresco rebounded from a first round 76 (+4) to shoot 1-under par 71 and is currently tied for 21st overall.
- Michaela Morard improved on Saturday's second round, shooting 1-over par 73 and led the Crimson Tide with five birdies on the day.
- Polly Mack carded another round of 6-over par 78 and is tied for 54th.
- Emilie Øverås rounded out play for Alabama and is in 54th place overall.
