Malachi Moore Selected as SEC Freshman of the Week

The recognition is Moore’s second of this season
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – Alabama football's Malachi Moore was selected as the Southeastern Conference Freshman of the Week, the league office announced on Monday. The honor is Moore's second this season and as he also picked up league honors following the Texas A&M games.
Freshman of the Week
- The first-year defensive back played a key role in shutting out Mississippi State's high-powered offense
- Made a team-high eight tackles, including one for loss (-2 yards), while adding two pass breakups
- Joined his teammates in forcing State into a 28-of-48 night for just 163 yards passing with two interceptions
