TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Two-time USA Junior Olympic National Championships qualifier Jordyn Paradise has signed her National Letter of Intent to compete for The University of Alabama gymnastics team, head coach Dana Duckworth announced Wednesday.
JORDYN PARADISE SAID
"I chose Alabama because of the amazing coaches, the enthusiastic environment and the family aspect of the team. It assured me that I will always have people in my corner supporting me throughout my entire journey at Bama. I'm looking forward to my future as an Alabama gymnast and my personal growth as well. ROLL TIDE!!!"
HEAD COACH DANA DUCKWORTH SAID
"Her gymnastics caught our eye because she is not only powerful, but she is aggressive, precise and fun to watch. She lives, breathes and loves gymnastics and when you mix that with her contagious positive attitude, determination and sense of humor, she will be an awesome teammate and an intense competitor who will have an opportunity to impact all four events. Over and above being team-focused, she competes a 10.0 start-value vault, the highest level of skills on every event in college gymnastics. In our talks she has shared that she wants to be a part of something bigger and do her part to help Alabama win a national championship. She is competitive with herself which will make her a difference maker."
