In addition to the homestanding Tide, the tournament features players Mississippi State, LSU, Ole Miss and Auburn in both singles and doubles competition.
Isabella Harvison notched both a singles and doubles win on the day, while rookie Anna Parkhomenko went to 1-0 against Auburn in singles, winning the last match of the day. Anne Marie Hiser also picked up a win against the Tigers. Earlier in the day, Harvison teamed with Sydney Riley for a doubles victory.
HEAD COACH JENNY MAINZ SAID
"This fall has provided a great opportunity to evaluate where our team is and where we need to be for the spring season. We've gained invaluable information these last three weekends playing SEC opponents. It's been great for our young team to see what the tough SEC is like three consecutive weekends, much like it will be this spring. We've built some confidence and momentum but have a lot of work in front of us to compete at the level we need to."
