Alabama Women’s Tennis Notches 10 Wins on Day One of the Hail State Classic

The Crimson Tide came away with wins in 10 of the 14 singles matches, with four women doubling up on day one of the Classic
STARKVILLE, Miss. – The Alabama women's tennis team earned 10 singles wins on day one of the Hail State Classic being played in Starkville, Miss., this weekend. The two-day tournament features players from Alabama, Mississippi State and Ole Miss in both singles and doubles competition.
Anna Parkhomenko, Anne Marie Hiser, Isabella Harvison, Sydney Riley, Vanesa Nikolovova and Sasha Gorchanyuk all earned first-day victories, with Parkhomenko, Hiser, Harvison and Nikolovova going two-for-two in singles on the day.
