Alexey Nesterov and Zhe Zhou Travel to Southern Miss Invitational This Weekend

The two seniors will begin play on Saturday in Hattiesburg, Miss.
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Seniors Alexey Nesterov and Zhe Zhou will travel to Hattiesburg, Miss., for the Southern Miss Invitational on Saturday, Sept. 28 to Sunday, Sept. 29.
Tournament Info
- Nesterov and Zhou will play in their second tournament of the fall season. The two will compete against players from Southern Miss, UAB, South Alabama and the University of New Orleans.
- On Saturday the tournament will start with one round of doubles at 10 a.m. Singles will start at 11 a.m., with the second round coming at 3 p.m. On Sunday, two rounds of doubles begins at 10 a.m., with the last singles matches going on at 2 p.m.
- The draws will be created on Saturday morning.
Player Info
- Nesterov is a perfect 4-0 in singles and 3-0 in doubles so far this fall season. The Moscow, Russia native, won the Singles and Doubles Houndstooth Draw at the Crimson Tide Four-In-The-Fall on Sept. 15.
- Zhou has a 2-1 doubles record and one singles win after playing in the Milwaukee Tennis Classic last weekend.
