Alabama Begins Preparations for SEC Opener at South Carolina on Saturday

The Crimson Tide and Gamecocks will meet for the 16th time this weekend in Columbia, S.C.
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama Crimson Tide returned to the practice field Monday for the first-time following Saturday's 62-10 victory over New Mexico State. Head coach Nick Saban and select players met with the media at noon before the Crimson Tide put in a two-hour session in shells (helmets and shoulder pads) at the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields later in the day.
Alabama will open SEC play for the 2019 schedule this Saturday, Sept. 14, against South Carolina. Game time is set for 2:39 p.m. CT at Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia, S.C.
