Alabama Football Continues Work Heading into the Final Weekend of Preseason

UA will practice two more times before moving into game week preparations
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama Crimson Tide football team put together a two-hour session in helmets and shoulder pads on Thursday afternoon at the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields.
The single practice was Alabama's 18th of fall camp in preparation for the season-opening contest with Duke in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga. The matchup between the Crimson Tide and Blue Devils is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 31, with a 2:30 p.m. CT kickoff on ABC.
Alabama will practice again on Friday and Saturday – both at 3:30 p.m. – before using Sunday as an off day. Following the one-day break, the Crimson Tide will begin its game-week preparations for Duke on Monday afternoon.
