Alabama Football Holds Final Pre-Academic Year Workout on Tuesday

Crimson Tide lands five on Associated Press Preseason All-America Team
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama football team practiced for the final time before the start of the 2019 fall semester on Tuesday, putting in two hours of work in full pads at the Thomas-Drew Practice Fields.
Tuesday's session was the 16th in a series of 20 practices for UA during fall camp as the team prepares for its season-opening contest with Duke in the Chick-fil-A Kickoff Game at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Ga. The matchup between the Crimson Tide and Blue Devils is scheduled for Saturday, Aug. 31, with a 2:30 p.m. CT kickoff on ABC.
Also on Tuesday, the Crimson Tide placed four players on the 2019 Associated Press Preseason All-America Team, the wire service announced. Alabama's four selections tied with Clemson for the most by one school on this year's team. Defensive lineman Raekwon Davis, wide receiver Jerry Jeudy and linebacker Dylan Moses received first team recognition for the Crimson Tide, while quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was named to the second team.
