Southeastern Conference Releases 2019 Soccer and Volleyball Broadcast Schedules

BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The Southeastern Conference announced its broadcast schedule for the upcoming 2019 soccer and volleyball seasons Thursday. The Alabama soccer team will be featured twice on the ESPN family of networks and the volleyball team will appear five times.
In addition to the Crimson Tide's seven combined televised appearances, all home matches and select road contests will be streamed online through the SEC Network+. Video streaming links will be posted on the respective sport's schedule page on Rolltide.com prior to competition and will be available on WatchESPN.com and the WatchESPN app.
Alabama soccer will make its SEC Network debut on Sunday, Sept. 22 on the road at Arkansas, set for a 2 p.m. CT start. The Tide's second nationally-televised contest comes Thursday, Oct. 17 in Oxford, Miss., against the Ole Miss Rebels at 6 p.m. CT on SEC Network.
In addition to the regular season, SEC Network will carry every round of the SEC Soccer Tournament from Orange Beach, Ala., Nov. 3-10.
Alabama volleyball is scheduled to first appear on the ESPN family of networks in its SEC opener on Tuesday, Sept. 24, at Texas A&M. First serve on ESPNU is set for 8 p.m. CT from Reed Arena in College Station, Texas. The Tide will next appear on the SEC Network the following week on Wednesday, Oct. 2, facing in-state rival Auburn on the road at 7 p.m. CT. Another Wednesday televised match comes the following week when Alabama hosts Mississippi State Wednesday, Oct. 9, at 6 p.m. CT in Foster Auditorium live on ESPNU. Two more road matches wrap up the televised portion of the Tide's schedule, facing South Carolina Sunday, Oct. 27 at 12 p.m. CT on ESPNU and Arkansas Sunday, Nov. 17 at 12 p.m. CT on SEC Network.
