NCAA SOFTBALL TUSCALOOSA REGIONAL GAME THREE - Alabama Beats Arizona State, 7-4

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama Crimson Tide beat the Arizona State 7-4 Saturday, to advance to Sunday's 2019 NCAA Softball Tuscaloosa Regional championship game. Arizona State is slated to play in the regional's second elimination game later on Saturday.
The two teams combined for 11 runs over the first three innings, including a pair of home runs, one by each team. The Sun Devils struck first with a pair of runs in the first inning, before Alabama answered in the bottom of the inning with two of their own. Arizona State added two more in the second inning before Alabama score five unanswered with one in the bottom of the second and the final four runs in the third. Both teams were shut out in the last four innings.
Freshman Montana Fouts picked up the win for Alabama, pushing her record to 16-4 on the season, while Cielo Meza took the loss for the Sun Devils, falling to 7-3.
Alabama returns to action Sunday at 1 p.m. against the winner of Saturday's third game. Arizaon State will play in that third game against the winner of Saturday's second game between Alabama State and Lipscomb.
