TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Lipscomb Bisons blanked the Alabama State Hornets 14-0 in five innings in the first elimination game of the 2019 NCAA Softball Tuscaloosa Regional at Rhoads Stadium.
Lipscomb returns to action immediately, facing the Arizona State Sun Devils for the right to advance to Sunday's championship game against Alabama. The Bisons scored 10 runs in the second inning to put the game away early, adding four runs in the fourth to account for the final tally.
Megan Gray picked up the win for the Bisons, pushing her record to 9-2 on the season, while Vanessa Bradford took the loss for the Hornets, finishing her season at 8-10.
