Alabama Moves Up to No. 33 in Latest Oracle/ITA Rankings

The Crimson Tide went 2-0 over the weekend
TEMPE, Ariz. – The Alabama women's tennis team moved up two spots to No. 33 in the Oracle/ITA National Team Rankings released on Tuesday. Senior Andie Daniell also came in at No. 49 in singles.
The Crimson Tide (18-10, 6-7 SEC) finished the regular season with two wins over the weekend, first against No. 44 Arkansas, 4-2, on Friday and then against Missouri, 4-1, on Sunday at the Alabama Tennis Stadium.
Daniell picked up two singles victories with straight-set wins over No. 88 Martina Zerulo of Arkansas and No. 106 Mackenzy Middlebrook. For her efforts, Daniell earned her first-career SEC Player of the Week honors announced earlier this morning.
The Tide will be back on the courts on Thursday, April 18 at 2 p.m. CT for the second round of the 2019 SEC Women's Tennis Championship against No. 28 LSU in College Station, Texas. Live scoring of the match will be available on 12thman.com.
