Ashley Williams, Quanetria Bolton and Hannah Cook are finishing up their first professional seasons
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Former Alabama players Quanetria Bolton Ashley Williams and Hannah Cook are finishing up their first year playing professionally overseas. Below is a quick update of how they have faired so far this season.
Quanetria Bolton | Sport Lisboa Benfica | Lisbon, Portugal
Bolton has been a consistent threat for Sport Lisboa Benfica, averaging 17.7 points, 7.9 rebounds and 1.3 assists per game in only her first season. In her last game, she scored a team-high 20 points to go along with five rebounds and two blocks in Sport Lisboa Benfica's loss to Uniao Sportiva.
Ashley Williams | TSV 1880 Wasserburg | Wasserburg am Inn, Germany
Williams has been a solid contributor to TSV 1880 Wasserburg in the German DBBL, averaging 10.2 points and 6.4 rebounds per contest. In her last game, Williams scored 10 points and five rebounds in 27 minutes in the squad's 67-52 win over Eisvogel Freiburg. Wasserburg is 12-8 on the year and in fourth place in the German DBBL.
Hannah Cook | U.M.F Grindavik | Grindavik, Iceland
Cook was an all-around star for U.M.F Grindavik, averaging 24.1 points and 10.6 rebounds per contest for the season. The Ozark, Mo., native led her team to the Icelandic League Championship last weekend to finish out her rookie season.
