
Alabama Women’s Tennis Enters 2019 SEC Women’s Tennis Championships as the No. 8 Seed

The Crimson Tide will play No. 9 seed LSU in the second round on Thursday, April 18 at 2 p.m. CT
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – After winning four its last five matches, the 35th-ranked Alabama women's tennis team will enter the 2019 Southeastern Conference Women's Tennis Championships as the No. 8 seed and will take on No. 9 seed LSU in the second round on Thursday, April 18 at 2 p.m. CT in College Station, Texas.
The Crimson Tide finished the regular season with a 18-10 record including a 6-7 mark in SEC play, while the 28th-ranked Tigers are 15-10 overall and 5-8 in league competition. This is the second meeting of the season with then-ranked No. 12 LSU taking the first match 4-0 on March 1 in Baton Rouge to open SEC play.
The winner of Thursday's match will advance to take on No. 1 seed and undefeated, Georgia on Friday, April 19 at 2 p.m. CT. All matches will have live scoring on 12thman.com.
