Ashley Williams and Quanetria Bolton are finishing up their first professional seasons
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Former Alabama players Quanetria Bolton and Ashley Williams are finishing up their first year playing professionally overseas. Below is a quick update of how they have faired so far this season.
Quanetria Bolton | Sport Lisboa Benfica | Lisbon, Portugal
Bolton has helped Sport Lisboa Benfica to a 20-2 record this season, which is good enough for second in the Portugal-Liga Feminina standings. Most recently, Bolton tallied 12 points and five rebounds in the team's 66-63 win over CAB Madeira. For the year, Bolton leads the team with 17.8 points and eight rebounds per contest.
Ashley Williams | TSV 1880 Wasserburg | Wasserburg am Inn, Germany
Williams has been a solid contributor to TSV 1880 Wasserburg in the German DBBL, averaging 10.6 points and 6.3 rebounds per contest. In her last game, Williams added nine points and seven rebounds in the squad's one-point loss against Gruner Stern Keltern. Wasserburg is 12-7 on the year with two regular season games remaining on the schedule.
