Alabama Divers Make Finals on Day One of NCAA Zone B Championships

Senior Robby Costine and freshman Kevin Li made the finals of the 1-meter springboard on Monday
AUBURN, Ala. – Alabama swimming and diving closed day one of the NCAA Zone B Championships with a pair of appearances in finals.
Senior Robby Costine and freshman Kevin Li both made finals off the 1-meter springboard, taking 10th with 324.25 points and 11th with 323.10 points, respectively, after prelims. Li jumped into eighth in finals, scoring 667.40 over 12 dives. Costine finished 15th in finals with 595.70 points.
Freshman Hunter Jaynes was 27th after prelims off the 1-meter springboard, scoring 251.75 points.
In the women's 3-meter springboard, freshman Natalie Donkle took 34th after scoring 225.75 points in prelims, while senior Ayanna Woods was 41st after tallying 134.55 points.
The Crimson Tide returns to action on Tuesday, with the men competing off the 3-meter and the women off the 1-meter springboards.
