
Alabama Women’s Basketball Overseas Update

The Crimson Tide currently has three former players actively competing overseas
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Three former Alabama women's basketball players who graduated in 2018 are in the middle of their professional seasons overseas. Below is a quick update of how they are doing so far.
Quanetria Bolton | Sport Lisboa Benfica | Lisbon, Portugal
Bolton has led Sport Lisboa Benfica to a 16-0 record before the team suffered its first loss of the season in its last game, despite scoring 22 points and grabbing six rebounds. Benfica is the top team in the Portugal-Liga Feminina with its 16-1 mark for the year. For the season, Bolton leads the team in both points and rebounds with 16.4 and 7.5 per game respectively.
Ashley Williams | TSV 1880 Wasserburg | Wasserburg am Inn, Germany
Williams has been a major contributor to TSV 1880 Wasserburg in the German DBBL, averaging 10.4 points and 6.3 rebounds per game. Most recently, Williams put in 13 points and seven rebounds to help lead Wasserburg to a 57-54 regular season victory over XCYDE Angels Noerdlingen on Sunday.
Hannah Cook | U.M.F Grindavik | Grindavik, Iceland
Cook had a spectacular performance in her first career professional game in the Icelandic League by leading U.M.F Grindavik to an 85-72 win over Njarovik after totaling 25 points and 10 rebounds.
