Anfernee Jennings among the semi-finalists for the 35th annual Butkus Award
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama returned to the Thomas-Drew Practice fields Tuesday afternoon, practicing for two hours in full pads for the first time this week.
The Crimson Tide takes on No. 1/2 LSU Saturday, Nov. 9 at 2:39 p.m. in Bryant-Denny Stadium. The contest will be broadcast by CBS with Brad Nessler, Gary Danielson and Jamie Erdahl on the call.
Redshirt senior Anfernee Jennings has been selected as one of 12 semi-finalists for the 35th annual Butkus Award, which honors the nation's best collegiate linebackers by the Butkus Foundation. Finalists will be announced November 25, and winners will be announced on or before December 10. Jennings ranks second on the Crimson Tide with 7.5 tackles for loss (-38 yards), a total that is 10th in the SEC, while adding four sacks (-30 yards) to tie for ninth in the league.
