The Crimson Tide hits four home runs in the 16-0 victory
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama softball concluded its fall slate Sunday afternoon at Rhoads Stadium with a 16-0 victory across 10 innings of play against Marion Military Institute.
FROM HEAD COACH PATRICK MURPHY
"Thanks to the fans for their awesome support of our program! I think the crowds this fall were the best I've ever seen at Alabama.
"Any time you can throw a 10-inning shutout, it's a great thing. I'm really excited about our pitching staff this spring. We have the makings of one of the best staffs we've ever had. It's always fun to see a player hit their first home run of the fall. Karla, Taylor and Elissa have all been working hard and to see that work translate into success is very meaningful.
"We can't wait to start back to work this spring and take the field officially as Team 24!"
