Alabama Head Volleyball Coach Lindsey Devine Announces Coaching Staff

TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – Alabama head volleyball coach Lindsey Devine has completed her coaching staff, as she heads into her first season with the Crimson Tide in 2019.Â
She is joined by assistant coaches Ladislav Lelkes and Megan Ailshie and director of operations Emily Orrick.Â
"I am excited that Ladislav, Megan and Emily will be joining me at the University of Alabama," Devine said. "Their experience, energy and dedication will help establish and promote our culture of excellence in the classroom, on the court and everywhere else in between."Â
Lelkes spent the past two seasons as an assistant coach for Devine at East Tennessee State, making back-to-back NCAA Tournament appearances in 2017 and 2018. Prior to his time at ETSU, Lelkes was an assistant coach at East Carolina in 2016 and Barton College in 2014 and 2015. He played two seasons on Barton's men's team serving as a team captain in 2012 and 2013.Â
Ailshie, formerly Megan Devine, played for her mother at ETSU from 2010-13 before joining the staff as a volunteer assistant in 2015 after playing professionally in Sweden with Hylte VBK. While playing for the Bucs, she was a two-time Atlantic Sun Conference Player of the Year and earned AVCA All-America accolades in 2013.
Orrick previously served as a graduate assistant on Devine's staff at ETSU over the past two seasons. After playing her first two seasons at Lincoln Land Community College, Orrick completed her playing career at Illinois State where she earned All-MVC and AVCA All-Region honors and was a nominee for the Senior CLASS award.
