Crimson Tide is set to take on Northwestern on Friday at 6 p.m. CT, and Harvard on Sunday at 1 p.m. CT
TUSCALOOSA, Ala. – The Alabama men's tennis team will take on Northwestern on Friday at 6 p.m. CT at the Roberta Alison Baumgardner Tennis Facility before turning around to face Harvard on Sunday at 1 p.m. CT in the Alabama-Auburn Invite.
Friday's match will serve as this year's Capstone International Night, where there will be a first server and honorary coaches. There will also be food provided for faculty members and international students.
The Crimson Tide (4-0) enters the weekend ranked No. 21 in the most recent Oracle ITA Collegiate Tennis Men's Division I National Team Rankings, after toppling then-No. 23 Michigan 4-3, in the 2019 spring season opener.
Alabama's contest against Northwestern marks the first meeting between the two programs since 2012. The Wildcats come into Tuscaloosa with an overall 0-3 record after falling to Vanderbilt 5-2 earlier this week.
When Alabama and Harvard (0-1) face each other on Sunday, it will mark the sixth time the two teams will square off, as the Tide holds a 4-1 advantage in the series. The last time the two schools competed against each other was during the 2013 season, when Alabama captured a 4-1 decision.
In addition to the weekend matches, Auburn will also play Harvard on Friday at 1 p.m. CT inside the Roberta Alison Baumgardner Indoor Facility, along with Northwestern on Sunday at 9 a.m. CT.
