No. 21 Men’s Tennis Tabbed Fifth in SEC Preseason Poll

The Crimson Tide are one of seven SEC teams ranked in the top 25
BIRMINGHAM, Ala. – The No. 21-ranked Alabama men's tennis team was picked to finish fifth in the Southeastern Conference men's tennis coaches' preseason poll, the conference office announced on Wednesday afternoon.
The Crimson Tide returns all 10 players from a year ago, where the team made it to the Round of 16 in the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2007. UA is led by senior All-American Mazen Osama who is currently ranked No. 24 in the latest singles rankings, along with sophomore Patrick Kaukovalta who is No. 41 in the nation.
Alabama has started off this season with 4-0 mark, including a win over then-No. 23 Michigan on Saturday inside the Roberta Alison Baumgardner Indoor Tennis Facility.
Next up for the Tide is a matchup with Northwestern on Friday, Jan. 25 at 6 p.m. inside the Roberta Alison Baumgardner Indoor Tennis Facility. The match will be streamed live on the UA Athletics YouTube page.
