
Andie Daniell Ranked No. 70 in ITA Preseason Singles Rankings

The Crimson Tide senior was 26-9 in singles play last year
TEMPE, Ariz. – After 35 straight weeks in the Intercollegiate Tennis Association rankings last year, senior Andie Daniell is back in the Top 125 as the No. 70 singles player in the country in the ITA Singles Preseason Rankings, the organization released on Tuesday.
Last year, Daniell finished tops on the team with an impressive 26-9 record in singles competition. The Douglasville, Ga., native was named First Team All-SEC in 2018, while going 17-7 during her spring campaign. In her first three years at Alabama, Daniell has compiled a strong 62-31 mark in singles.
For the third consecutive year, Alabama women's tennis will begin its fall season at the Rice Invitational in Houston, Texas on Sept. 21-23.
